PAYUNG ARSA is is a place where people with disability is appreciated for their ability, not judged by their inability. Utilizing their potential and abilities, we believe nothing can limit their chance to create.

"Payung" (Or "Umbrella" in English) Symbolize protection, power, prosperity, and form of art from cultures all over the world. Payung for us is also combining the values of "disability", "rainbow", and "Love". "Disability" is a part of human diversity that we should appreciate. "rainbow" represent the uniqueness and hope of every individual. "Love" is the core of every interaction, stating that every artistic work made deserve to get a form of appreciation
Our Phylosophy
"Arsa" Means happiness in Sanskrit language. Therefore, Payung Arsa is a room of happiness for every individual with disability to achieve their dreams with a spirit, to be seen as equal, and spread that happiness through their artworks. Our hope, is for Payung Arsa to be a bridge, between their strengths and uniqueness to the world, proving their abilities and creativities that never limited and in-depth.
What "Payung Arsa" means, as a part of Pelangi Kasih Disability school?
Journey of Payung Arsa
Disability Vocational School born with learning span of 2 years with hope that it will equip students with independency and work experience.
2021
Vocationalism goal is to improve independency and skills of students according to their intrest.
Established under the name Rumah Karya Disabilitas (or Disability Home Industry in English) Pelangi Kasih. At that time all the products was made by all grade 10-12 and vocational Pelangi Kasih Disability School
There is 8 main sector:
Culinary Art, Fashion, Digital Design, Photography and Videography, Batik, Painting, Crafts (Beading, Knitting, Macramé), And Screen printing

With our first generation of vocational students graduating, we opened new jobs for them and also offering graduates from our Disability High School if they want to go straight to working with us. We also collaborate with clients from Pondok Waras Healing Center in the production process.
Evaluating every sector we had before we decided to cut down some and leave: Culinary Art, Fashion, Batik, Ecoprint, and Screen Printing.
We built a gallery to sell all of products made by our workers, students, and vocational students.
“Payung Arsa” become the official name of our MSMEs under the Pelangi Kasih School.
